Frequently asked questions
▸Is the end date included in the count?
No — we count the gap between the two dates, so 1 January to 2 January is 1 day. If you need both ends included (for example hotel nights), add one day to the result.
▸Are leap years and time zones handled correctly?
Yes. Dates are read as calendar days at UTC midnight and the difference is computed in whole days, so leap years are exact and daylight saving time can never shift the result.
